Nancy A. Gutelius founded VIVOS IMAGES (formerly FAMILY PORTRAITS), to make portrait photography an enjoyable time for everyone.
From the time she was 8 and bugging her father to use the Kodak Brownie camera, then the Polaroid camera at age 10, Nancy has never been able to keep her finger off of the shutter button. With a coax and a smile, she has been prompting people to give that special pose years before she opened her own portrait studio.
Even after the founding of FAMILY PORTRAITS (now VIVOS IMAGES) in 1999, Nancy was fortunate to meet and work with esteemed photographer Alex Roberts of Mr. Roberts Photography in Lake Orion, Michigan. With over 30 years experience in Wedding and Portrait photography, Alex mentored Nancy in the fine art of Wedding Photography. Alex honed Nancy's portrait skills and has since retired. Vivos Images is now located at 4990 Sashabaw Road, in Clarkston, Michigan.
Kim Zanni, our Wedding Photography Associate, has been working together with Nancy to provide an ideal wedding photography experience for our clientele. Kim has an eye for detail and a gift for customer service; her observant grace has helped capture some of the most memorable images for our bridal couples. An equal partner in achieving a top-notch final product, Kim's talents are highly valued in our studio.
